Salty Boozy Lemonade
Earlier this year I did the famous #MasterCleanse
. It’s a tough cleanse and it isn’t for everyone, but for me, it was perfect. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the cleanse: you pretty much live off freshly squeezed lemonade, with Cayenne pepper and Maple syrup added. When you do it, you go through a lot of lemons! I hated just wasting the peels. So I made salty preserved lemons, and a lemon infused spirit. I used these to make this delicious salty boozy lemonade!
1/2 cup 80 Proof Lemon Spirit
1/2 cup #Lemon
1/4 cup #Cointreau
1-2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
1 loose Tbsp Chopped #SaltyLemon
3 cups Ice
Repeat this recipe with #BlueCuraçao
instead of Cointreau.
and either salt or sugar for the rim of the glass.
Use a lemon wedge to wet the rim of the glass, rim the glass with the Tajin mixture.
Alternating one spoonful at a time: add the yellow Cointreau mixture to one side of the glass and the Blue Curaçao to the other side of the glass.
