As I started typing my "Benefits of Celery" caption I suddenly erased it all. Listing all the facts looks official and makes me sound a little smart and all but we're gonna take a different approach this morning. ☆ Within my first 3 DAYS of drinking celery juice first thing in the morning coupled with eating clean (not starving myself. Eating clean.) I lost 5 POUNDS!! I believe it was water weight but for someone who has struggled with being overweight since a child this was huge! Especially since the weight just kept falling off and still is!! ☆ Weight loss aside, I was also able to kick my expensive Starbucks habit cold turkey without any withdrawal symptoms. NO HEADACHES GUYS! And I was drinking 2 venti coffees a day chasing some sort of energy to get through my days of adulting and dealing with my 3 kids (one of which was just a newborn). If I didn't have this experience with celery juice personally, I for sure would not have believed it! ☆ So yea, I could start telling you how it helps with all these different symptoms and ailments but chances are most people won't even try it because they hate the taste of celery or they just don't believe it can be that effective for them. ☆ I can only tell you it changed my life and quite possibly saved it. But We alone choose how we want to process these experiences. How we want to let them shape us. What did I gain from going through this? What did I learn? How can I use my experience to support others that find themselves in similar situations? Can I use this experience as a gift, a gift that tought me incredible things that I would never have come to learn any other way? Maybe we can use this strength that grew within us to make great things happen. Every single thing that you have experienced in your life, makes you stronger. Every single experience teaches you a great lesson. What we can do is to open our eyes and be grateful. To open our heart in order to give and receive love. Raw Honey peanut rice crispy bars🎄 ‘Tis the season to be tempted by treats everywhere you go. My husband especially because people bring them into work. I made these yummy basic bars in a few minutes with just what I had in the kitchen in an effort to provide my family with a healthier alternative treat. Recipe: unsalted peanut butter, sea salt, raw honey, rice cereal (make sure that you don’t use Kellogg’s because that has corn in it.) I’m not sure of the amounts because I just did it to taste. I mixed the peanut butter, salt and raw honey first and then added the rice cereal. I pressed it into a parchment paper lined bread pan and put it in the fridge. I melted some dairy free chocolate chips in the microwave and drizzled it on top and then put it back in the fridge. After it all firmed up in about half an hour I took it out of the bread pan, flipped it upside down so that when I cut it into bars the chocolate wouldn’t crack. Then I just flipped the pieces right side up and served them. My husband really liked them! He said, “This is the best thing you have made in A WHILE!” ⭐️What’s great about them is they don’t have eggs, gluten or dairy which feed viruses and harmful bacteria like streptococcus. Instead they have healing raw honey. The medical medium say, “Raw Honey is often referred to as “liquid gold” due to its highly therapeutic antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral, antiseptic, anti-aging and anticancer properties.”👍 The only downfall of these bars is that they are high in fat. Something to be mindful of if you are trying to heal and detox. When you eat fat your body switches from detoxing to making bile to digest the fat. #IVIG day two! Also. I’ve gone full on plant based diet/no meat cause my face redness healing slowed down/stopped. It’s been a few months and I just think it was time to change things up. . So I’ve cut out all the actual meat (I was only eating chicken and ocean things anyway - though I wouldn’t say I’m vegan since I’m not super strict about avoiding um, like gelatin or meat juices in things). - and added back in a few things not AIP. Still avoiding gluten and corn and not like, going crazy. Mostly adding things in as side dishes, like a few white potatoes, or some nut foods, and some soy things. (Still no good breads 😭). . Again - everything I’ve done the past year has been an effort to remove foods that were hurting me, heal my gut/systems, and then reintroduce what I can. I found out coffee in any form is a big NO. 😭😭😭 but oh well - whatever it takes right?. . Cause I am stubborn - and stubborn enough to believe that I can keep moving this forward, keep making progress towards healing - and basically not be sick for the rest of my life. I have a good 50+ years left to keep doing everything I can to be able to spend time with all the peoples I love/will love 😉🤔😳😉. . All while battling with severe eczema, psoriasis, adrenal fatigue, IBS, chronic fatigue syndrome, hormonal imbalances, mysterious weight gain/loss, nonstop viral infections, endless amounts of food sensitivities, ETC. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This brings me to the photo on the left, at 26 years old I was 90% covered in rashes & hives. I couldn’t take a shower without breaking out from the water. My immune system was so shut down that I was breaking out from EVERYTHING. I was so run down & fatigue that I couldn’t get out of bed in the morning without breaking down. All my hair was mysteriously falling out. My mental state was at an all time low. I dropped down to 90 pounds. I had reached my rock bottom. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ When I went to the doctor, what did they do... same thing they did every single other time... prescribed me with antibiotics that will not only just bandaid the problem temporarily... but make the symptoms & your immune system WAY worse in the future. Einen wunderschönen guten Mittag ihr lieben!🤗💕 Ich habe heute ein wundervolles, klassisches, vitaminreiches Rezept für euch, das an Omas Zeiten erinnert😍-Gemütlichkeit, Harmonie, Wohlfühlen, Geniessen…. Das bekommt ihr mit einem wärmenden Sauerkraut-Kartoffel-Eintopf, mit dem ihr so ganz nebenbei euer Immunsystem stärkt. Ihr benötigt für ca. 2-3 Portionen: 2 mittelgroße Zwiebeln 2 Knoblauchzehen 6 Mittelgroße Kartoffeln 2-3 Lorbeerblätter Paprikapulver 2 EL Tomatenmark 300ml Gemüsebrühe 1 Prise Muskat 1 Päckchen Sauerkraut Die Zwiebeln und Knoblauch werden in Öl gedünstet, anschließend kommen die zuvor geschälten, gewürfelten Kartoffeln dazu. Zusammen ca. 5 Minuten dünsten. Danach kommt die Gemüsebrühe dazu, weitere 5 Minuten kochen. Sauerkraut abtropfen lassen, und zusammen mit allen Gewürzen und der Tomatenmark unter die Kartoffeln mischen und zugedeckt ca. 20 Minuten auf mittlerer Stufe kochen. Zum Schluss abschmecken, ggf. mit Salz und Pfeffer abschmecken und genießen!😋😍 💫Nährstoff-Facts:💫 Sauerkraut liefert uns Folsäure, Vitamin K und Natrium, er ist reich an Vitamin B12, Zink und Magnesium. COOKED FOOD CRAVINGS // Yes, it can happen - although you might really enjoy all the raw fruits and veggie dishes, you start craving cooked foods. Well, first of all, there is no shame in that. So many memories attached to it, so many favorite recipes. Many of us consumed mainly cooked dishes during their life so no wonder that is it not always easy to let go of that habit. . You are not alone. Here are a few tips how to play with those cravings and get back into the driver seat of your raw food journey. . 🍇 EATING ENOUGH: For me, cooked food cravings can sneak in when I didn’t eat enough over the day. Cooked foods are usually higher in calories, our body remembers that and wants us to go for the quick load when not getting enough food through our raw meals. To check if that might be the case for yourself, experiment with eating more fruits and see if the cravings vanish just by themselves. . ☃️ COLD CLIMATE: Winter makes us crave more warming foods. Add some cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, turmeric or vanilla to your smoothies. Warming, hearty additions for your evening meal can be cayenne pepper, paprika powder, turmeric and black pepper, curry powder or garlic. . 🍌 PLANNING: Always have some of your favorite fruits and fresh greens and veggies at home so that you don’t tempt yourself to reach for cooked meals when some cravings might show up. Ripe, high-quality produce is the key. . 🥦 COMPROMISE: You can’t shake off the thoughts about cooked foods? Don’t be too hard on yourself, maybe you just need a little more time to transition. 🌱DAY 4 of the 369 Liver cleanse organic salad for lunch🌱✨There are many vegetables that I have been unable to eat due to the possibility of high Ni content such as carrots, tomatoes, and scallions etc. However, according to the data on Rebelytics, it seems I can eat them, but I don’t want to try everything all at once, so I will go slow on introducing new veggies. I’m supposed to include steamed asparagus for the liver rescue salad, but it’s out of the season, so I used Brussel sprouts instead. I have never made a dressing using the following ingredients before: orange juice, celery, honey, garlic. Surprisingly, it’s so delicious! 😋!It is oil free and so refreshing! I was worried how I can eat this big salad, but with the idea of creating my own dressing, I look forward to my next salad! Yay! 💕✨

In a matter of minutes you will have your cauliflower roasting away in the marinade, which gives you time to throw together a simple salad to pair it with, if you wish. You can serve this cauliflower whole, or cut it into cauliflower “steak” slices, or section it any way you’d like. _ Cauliflower is a nutrient rich vegetable that is excellent for supporting a strong immune system and optimum health. Cauliflower is incredibly high in vitamin C and B-complex and minerals such as boron, calcium, molybdenum, and tryptophan. It is also a good source of high quality protein that is easily assimilated into the body. Cauliflower contains powerful anti-cancer compounds such as indole-3-carbinol and sulforaphane, which are particularly beneficial for helping to prevent breast, cervical, ovarian, colon, stomach, and prostate cancers. _ Roasted Whole Cauliflower _ Ingredients: 1 head of cauliflower 2 tbsp curry powder 2 tsp paprika 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp chili powder or 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 2 tsp maple syrup 1 tsp sea salt 1.5 tbsp lemon juice 1/4 cup water Large handful of fresh cilantro to serve _ Directions: Preheat oven to 400F. Set aside. _ Combine the curry powder, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, maple syrup, sea salt, lemon juice and water in a small bowl and whisk to combine. Taste the mixture - add a bit more salt, maple syrup, chili powder or lemon juice to taste. _ Turn the cauliflower upside down and pour in 3/4 of the marinade. Shake the cauliflower so it gets right into the center. Flip it over and brush the rest of the mixture onto the outside of the cauliflower. Place the cauliflower in a pan or baking dish and roast for 35-50 minutes, until soft at the core. How to Transition to Raw! ❤ If you are coming from a standard diet, I always suggest transitioning to raw. I see a much higher success rate of staying raw that way. As we have so many emotional and physical challenges, easy does it. Slow and steady wins the race. If you are being challenged, and need to jump on, jump on. Get support. YOU are worth it. When we transition from a typical standard Western diet, we start by letting go of what is obstructing our bodies the most, and that is the food that is creating the most mucus. On the top of that list, we find dairy. Yes, all dairy, even the kefir, the yogurt, and the goat milk. Anything that comes from animal milk will produce enormous amounts of mucus in our bodies, and we know what that means. It means hello parasites, an impacted intestine, congestion all over the body, and general acidity. We are simply not made to digest the proteins in the milk, and we suffer big time from trying to. So, there we have it, the first thing to go has to be the dairy - all of it. All acid-forming foods are mucus-forming, so we are moving towards the alkaline side of chemistry. We want to slowly move to the alkaline side of eating, meaning more alkalizing fruits and vegetables, and less acid-forming foods like animal meats and processed foods. Here is a short and very basic list of acid-forming and alkaline-forming foods, to give you a general idea. You will see that the most important thing to do is to move towards a plant-based diet.
